John Samuel Wanley Sawbridge Erle Drax was Sheriff and William Bridge had replaced Robert Curtis Phillipps as County Clerk. List of prisoners awaiting trial on two sides and 8 convicted on front page, including Henry Lewis who received 15 years transportation for stealing a pair of boots. He is listed as sailing to Van Diemen’s Land on the ship “Lord Lyndoch” on 7th September 1840 arriving in Hobart on 5th Februray 1841. Corner defect with some loss of ms content.
