The manucript letter has been writen by Abraham Horsfall: ‘My dear papa. We are all very well and hope you are. Mr Wright died on Tuesday. I wrote to mama this morning. Dear papa I had not time to write to you this morning. John and Frances send a kiss. I go very well at school and we are all very good at home. I remain your dutiful and affectionate son, Abraham Horsfall.’
