Text written by Charles Jermingham: ‘The foreshortened view of the fishing boat is artistically abd picturesquely rendered, and the marine scenery well accidented. The breeze of Boston deeps has curled the sea and the light vessel skims before it like a wild duck. There is a wavey freshness in this sketch.
