Bell Son & Co, New York, with printed view of factory of Bayley & Shaw, Tanners, Fellmongers & Leather Dressers, Glue & Parchment Makers, Lenton, near Nottingham and at the Tan Yard, Newark. The letter was carried on the Cunard’s “Canada”. Comparing this view to that of 1846 (HA 30) the factory buildings have expanded considerably.
