A manuscript letter signed ‘Graves’ to Edward Jago, a solicitor in Plymouth, confirming that the former has signed the Death Warrants. Lord Graves was Comptroller of the Duke of Sussex’s Household and a Commissioner of Excise in 1830. The letter was posted from Devonport to Plymouth and bears a ‘Too Late’ handstamp for the former.
