HA 100 - Fire at the Tower of London on 31st October 1841 on Letter Paper

‘The Tower of London as it appeared on fire on the morning of Sunday the 31st Octr 1841’, engraved and published by Crosland & Co, Fenchurch Street, on a letter written by Sergeant Edwards, late Sergt. Major Rifle Brigade, Tower of London, to Mr Waghorn, Chelsea Pensioners’ Office asking that his pension be drawn at the Excise Office in Broad Street. This conflagration was painted by J.M.W. Turner.
